Your transition to college life is made simple by the welcoming feel of UCI’s campus. Interacting with fellow students from diverse backgrounds is one of the most valuable components of your education, and the friendships you make in campus housing could last a lifetime.
Our newest freshman residence hall, Mesa Court, features all the latest comforts and amenities, including indoor and outdoor multipurpose spaces and a new dining facility. A new expansion is also underway at our other freshman residence hall, Middle Earth—named after the world in J.R.R. Tolkein's Lord of the Rings trilogy.
In addition to traditional residence halls, there are a variety of other housing options available, including academic-sponsored housing, fraternity and sorority housing, and undergraduate apartments.
Eligible freshmen and transfer students are guaranteed two years of on-campus housing. To be eligible for a housing guarantee, students must meet all application and contract return and fee payment deadlines. Visit the UCI Housing site to learn more.
Satisfy your cravings at a variety of dining locations.
There are plenty of places to eat throughout campus or across the street! Whether you’re craving Starbucks, In-N-Out Burger, or an all-you-can-eat dining hall, you’ll never be far from a snack or a full meal.
Our on-campus Hospitality & Dining Services is known for its high satisfaction rating among students and for being a leader in food sustainability. It’s our forward thinking that has students looking forward to mealtime!
