The Intramural Sports program gives UCI students the opportunity to compete against each other in various sports leagues and tournaments. Each sports league has all-male teams, all-female teams, coed teams, or housing unit teams competing against each other, and leagues are structured according to the teams’ skill level.
Stay active, join a team, and try something new.
Have fun by taking advantage of UCI’s student recreation programs.
Developing and maintaining a physically active lifestyle is the Anteater way.
Enhance your campus experience through fitness and wellness, intramural sports, club sports, activity classes, and outdoor adventures. If you’re interested in competing against other UCI students in a recreational setting, join with 8,000 other students to play the intramural sports of your choice. We also have 33 club sports teams that compete against students at other colleges and universities. If you just want to work out on your own or take cardiovascular classes, our recreation center is the place for you!
Club Sports are UCI’s non-varsity intercollegiate competitive teams. Each club is a registered student organization with Student Life and Leadership and run by its own student-officers. There are more than 30 clubs at UCI, and each may have specific requirements.
