School of Social Sciences Info Session & Student Panel
Please join academic advisors as we share a little bit about the different resources and opportunities available to our Social Sciences majors, and hear from current students as they share their experiences as UCI Anteaters!

Join this session to hear from current engineering faculty and students. More information to come.

Summer Bridge Scholarships and the Freshman Edge Program
Find out about Freshman Edge and how you might qualify for a Summer Bridge Scholarship to attend this early summer start program that will provide you with a rich academic, social, and personal foundation for your time at UCI and beyond. Freshman Edge is available to all incoming freshmen from all majors, and has a unique pathway for international students to participate.

Globalize your UCI Experience | Study Abroad
Join this session to learn about how studying abroad can benefit your UCI studies and your career. Hear from staff and returned students about your options, the costs, scholarships and more. Get answers to your questions and learn how and when to apply!

Got an idea? The ANTrepreneur Center is the place to start!
The ANTrepreneur Center exists to serve as the home for all UCI ANTrepreneurs. It’s a safe place to bring ideas, meet other students who want to launch their own startups, find funding, connect with mentors and investors, and learn from experts on how to navigate starting and growing a business. In this session you will learn about the services and resources offered, including free startup consulting, mentorship, advice, and even funding. College is the perfect time to start a business or side hustle. Come and learn how we can help!

SOARing Through Your First Year! SOAR Center
Come learn from a panel of first-generation students about how to navigate your first year experience and where to seek advice!

Esports Arena
Come check out the UCI Esports Arena located on the Student Center Terrace. We welcome everyone to enjoy some free gameplay, learn more about our programs and scholarships! You can also meet our leadership team and players.

Anteater Recreation Center (ARC)
The ARC is a 110,000 square foot indoor sports and fitness facility plus a 25-acre outdoor field pavilion complete with climbing wall, high ropes course, outdoor pool, indoor running track, two weight rooms and demo cooking kitchen. Catch a shuttle to the ARC from the UCI Flagpole roundabout and enjoy a self-guided tour.

12 – 2 p.m.
RISE (Rooted In Student Empowerment) Suite Open House
The RISE (Rooted In Student Empowerment) Suite is the co-location of the DREAM Center, Latinx Resource Center, Sustainability Resource Center, UC Immigrant Legal Services, and the Womxn’s Center for Success. Come take a self-guided tour of the space and meet some of our friendly staff. 

11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
English Department Open House
We look forward to meeting the new English and Literary Journalism students at Celebrate UCI. We will have faculty and department majors ready to meet with you and talk about our undergraduate majors, student organizations, creative writing opportunities, and upcoming events. Be sure to stop by to mingle with faculty and students.

Tours

9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Housing Information Booth
Interested in on-campus housing? Check-in at the Housing Information Booth to learn about options for first-year freshmen and how to apply. Information regarding walking tours to our first-year freshmen communities (beginning at 9 am and ending at 1:30 pm) will be available at the booth as well. Tours consist of a guided exterior walk-through of the community and will not enter any rooms/buildings.

Campus Tours
Highly trained student representatives offer a one hour walking tour of campus with information highlighting the campus, academic programs and student life. All guided walking tours will depart from Anteater Plaza on Ring Road. Last tour will leave at 1:30pm.

Come see UCI Student performances on our stage in Aldrich Park.

Activities for our Newly Admitted Anteaters

10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Human Claw Machine
Calling all Newly Admitted Anteaters! Come claim your admitted student gift at the Human Claw Machine. You will be strapped into a harness and suspended over an inflatable ball pit to select your prize.

Walk the “Blue Carpet” Photo Op
You are the star! Walk the Anteater Blue Carpet for a keepsake photo with family and friends!

360 Video Experience Platform
Visit this exciting booth and stand on a red carpet special platform with friends & family and capture a 360-degree video for a truly unique memento!

Parking on campus is free for Celebrate UCI by registering your vehicle in advance here. Find your school below to locate the most convenient parking structure for you. If the lot is full upon your arrival, you may be directed to park in the next nearest location. Please adhere to parking instructions provided by attendants. We recommend that you plan to allow for extra time as the parking structures will be busy.
