Campus Highlights
The UC Irvine must-sees while you’re on campus

Aldrich Park
- Aldrich Park, named after UC Irvine’s founding chancellor and campus designer, is a 16-acre park in the heart of campus. In addition to a stunning view, Aldrich Park gives students a peaceful place to meet up and hang out in, as well as easy access to every academic school on campus.
- Fun fact: UC Irvine has been recognized as a Tree Campus USA by the Arbor Day Foundation since 2010 for our efforts to maintain an urban tree canopy.

Academic Plazas
As you walk Ring Road, the main pathway surrounding Aldrich Park, you will come across plazas for most academic disciplines. The 3,500 sq. ft. space features 36 top-of-the-line NZXT computers, Logitech gaming gear, and gaming chairs. In addition to the PCs, it has a Console & Community Corner where campus clubs and organizations can host events and meetings. The arena also houses our Broadcast Station.

On-Campus Housing
While housing facilities are closed to the public, Celebrate UCI attendees can see many of them while walking across campus. Middle Earth (first-year housing) is located along Ring Road near the Social Ecology building, while Mesa Court (first-year housing) is located near the Claire Trevor School of the Arts. Arroyo Vista and ACC Apartments (transfer housing) are located near the core campus.
On-Campus Dining
UC Irvine has two all-you-can-eat dining halls: Brandywine and The Anteatery. Both offer substantial daily menus focused on making healthy eating accessible and accommodating a diverse range of dietary needs and restrictions.

Anteater Recreation Center
Located just a short drive from main campus, the Anteater Recreation Center (ARC) is a 90,000-square-foot athletic facility featuring rock walls, indoor track, weight rooms and cardio equipment, basketball courts, pickleball and tennis courts, an Olympic size swimming pool, and a range of group class offerings.

Ecological Preserves
The UCI Ecological Preserve is a 60-acre site of coastal sage scrub and disturbed grassland habitats, and sustains two sensitive bird species. Adjacent to UC Irvine, the San Joaquin Marsh is a remnant of a once extensive wetland mosaic with estuaries along the coast and freshwater marsh spanning the plains of inland Orange County Both reserves are closed to public visitors, but used by faculty and students in their field work and can be seen on your drive in and out of campus.
Art Museum
The UC Irvine Jack & Shanaz Langson Institute & Museum of California Art is a dynamic center for the study, presentation, and appreciation of California Art.
