Are you game?

Level up at UC Irvine where Anteaters are scholar athletes, national champions, and Olympians.

Leave your legacy in one of 18 NCAA Division I programs

At UC Irvine, student athletes stand out in their field, rule the pool, and are kings and queens of the courts.

UC Irvine’s intercollegiate athletic program supports teams for 18 NCAA Division I sports — men’s baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, tennis, track & field, volleyball, and water polo; and women’s basketball, cross country, golf, indoor track & field, soccer, tennis, track & field, volleyball, and water polo. In addition to our Division I sports, there are other non-intercollegiate sports offerings available to students.

Anteaters have beaten the Zot out of opponents, winning 28 national championships in nine different sports. What’s more impressive, 64 individual Anteaters have won national championships; 56 have competed in the Olympics; and more than 3,500 students have been honored as Big West Conference Scholar-Athletes. All told, UC Irvine has had over 500 All-Americans.

If you’ve demonstrated what it takes to play for one of our Division I programs, visit UC Irvine's athletics site, select your desired sport, and then submit a recruit questionnaire.
